SOCIALISM 101 

Lara teaches Socialism 101 with Democratic Socialists of America (DSA-NYC). If you wish to take a class, see the DSA Calendar or the link under Upcoming Events. All classes are held at the DSA Headquarters at 14 Jefferson St in the Lower East Side. 

The 101 course is taught the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Classes are paused for the month of May. Here’s a link to the general DSA Calendar.

dentico didact no. 1-5 was on view from Jan 31st-Feb 15th, 2026. Teeth are living tissue, tools that destroy to nourish, poised between self and non-self. Using pedagogical dental imagery, the work questions authorship and objectivity, framing teeth as symbols of class, loss, and exchange beyond capitalism.
